Busy, Busy, Busy...

Not written on here for a while. Been soooo busy. Finally moved into the parents. Its actually not as bad as I thought it would be. I've been working and out most nights doing some sort of fitness (trying to get myself fit for AD haha) I spend most weekends catching up with friends and family as want to spend as much time with them as possible before I go.
Everyone's counting down to my Abu Dhabi Doo (my leaving party). I can't wait. Going to be a bit of a messy night haha but loads of memories will be made for me to take wth me.
4 more weeks left in work. INSET day tomorrow and as I'm not here next year I will be spending my time tidying and cleaning out my classroom while everyone else plans new lesson etc for next year. I do feel for everyone. Two schools amalgamating is difficult especially when people have lost jobs. But I'm also glad I'm not here next year to deal with all the problems and tension :o) Good Luck everyone. I have loads of faith in you.
Really wish we had heard more form ADEC. Hate not being organised. Everyone keeps asking if I know when I'm going your if I'm packed. I wish I did and I wish I was. Not that organised but  have sorted most of my things. Even the facebook group page has gone quiet while we wait. I hope we don't have to wait too much longer!!!

39 days to go (hopefully) and still counting...

Had to add this..........

This video is amazing. I really can't wait to go....

Still counting the days.....

Starting to panic a bit as I feel like I haven't even started getting myself organised for this move. I spend most days looking at blogs and facebook and constantly checking my email. So many people seem to have started packing already and I still haven't thought about what I need to take. I know I've so much to do and as usual I'll leave everything to the last minute :op. Think its time to start one of my famous checklists and start getting myself organised.
Only 6 weeks left in work so its starting to feel more real now. I have finally started telling my students that I'm leaving. I was surprised at the reaction as a lot of them are actually gutted that I'm leaving. Shows that I have made an impression on some of their lives and I know that there are quite few students I'm going to miss especially my form. I'll be thinking of them next year during their exams but I know they're all going to do so well.
So much for me moving into my parents last week. Its definitely happening this weekend :o( Not looking forward to it but has to be done. Its going to be weird not having my own space and sleeping on single bed in a little box room. I can see myself waking up on the fall many times haha.
I can't wait to start filling these blogs with pictures and videos of all the things I am going to get to experience in Abu Dhabi. Just feels like times starting to slow down.

And just a little note to my 2 younger brothers. I know you'll end up reading my blogs even if you think its a silly idea. You're both going to miss me and you know it :oP

53 days to go.......
(hopefully in first group)

Counting down the days...

I am currently in the process of packing up my gorgeous flat and moving pack in with my parents. Which I have to admit I am not looking forward to but it has to be done. Its so sad packing up as I have loved every minute of my time in this flat. Lots of happy memories, some sad and definitely some funny memories, for example, my friend Liz falling out of the shower. (Sorry Liz had to be mentioned haha)

It has made me realise that my new start is getting closer and I can't wait. I have just started planning my leaving party which is going to be great night but sad too as I am going to be saying bye to so many special people who I am going to miss so much.

I will be moving to Abu Dhabi in the UAE and will teaching english, maths, and science to year 5 children. Its going to be a big change as the children will speak very little english so its definitely going to test my teaching skills and the culture is so different but that is what I am looking forward to the most. I can't wait to experience new things and a new way of life. Even looking forward to wearing abayas to work.

I have always wanted to move abroad and work and I still can't believe I am actually going to do it. Its taken along time for me to get here but I am so excited. It will be a brand new beginning for me and it is definitely the right time for me to go.

Just a few pictures of some of the people I am going to miss so much

Congratulations Cath On your engagement. I will be back for the wedding and hen do. Promise

61 days to go (if in first group) and counting.........
